Responsive repair and internal refurbishment programme

Central & Cecil has chosen DW Contractors (Oxford) Ltd from 6 bidders for a £8m five + five year responsive repair and internal refurbishment programme.

The work will involve responsive repairs and the replacement of kitchens, bathrooms and electrical wiring as well as disabled adaptations where appropriate in more than 3 000 individual properties. The choice of contractor was weighted 40% on price and 60% on quality.

I wish to send a rather huge Thank you from all the residents of the estates that have recently had their kitchens replaced.

The tenants have expressed satisfaction at the professional and caring approach taken from the consultation process to the completion stage of the programme. At the last Tenants Forum meeting their views were highlighted and passed unto the Officers and Board of the Association.

Considering the diverse range of tenants and their particular requirements, your staff/contractors were extremely considerate and patient throughout the works and showed a magnificent attitude in ensuring each tenant was treated with respect and care.

Tor Partners status

Successfully achieved
DW Contractors Ltd has successfully achieved Tor Partners status.
As such DW Contractors is allowed to work on all Tor contracts where the client requires guarantees.
DW Contractors will use Tor-trained personnel on all Tor Partners contracts as dictated by the scheme rules.
