DW Contractors commenced trading as a Private Limited Company in February 1986. The founder and Managing Director, David Exley takes a keen interest in the day to day operation and long term planning of the company.

DW Contractors undertakes a diverse range of works within the private and public sectors. The main client base of the company, are Local Authorities, London Boroughs and Housing Associations. Contracts are also undertaken on behalf of Government, Property Management Companies, Schools, Universities and NHS Trusts.

Since inception, the Company has gained wide-ranging experience in successfully completing a large number of property contracts, including Painting and Decorating, Cyclical Redecorations; Term Maintenance Contracts; Responsive Repairs and Void Works; Building Refurbishment & Renovation.

We are registered with Constructionline No 4259 and have also gained accreditation with Sinclair Directories following a detailed vetting process. DW Contractors are members of the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and have also gained BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and BS EN ISO 14001:2004 accreditations.

The organisation has grown over the past five years due to the commitment and diverse skills of its employees. The company relocated to larger premises to support the expanding business levels and we also have a London operation based in Kensal Road, W10.

As a medium sized business we are fully aware of our responsibilities as Principal Contractor under CDM regulations. Key employees are trained in all aspects of health and safety management. Ongoing training and development is a key focus of our business. We look to regularly take on apprentices.

The business has the capacity and capability to undertake significant and varied range of work. DW Contractors predominantly operate throughout London and the Thames Valley region but are happy to consider contracts beyond this area.
